The Extracellular Matrix (ECM)

Understanding ECM: The Foundation of Skin Health

The extracellular matrix (ECM) is the essential scaffolding that supports and maintains your skin’s structure and function. This complex network of molecules provides the framework for skin health and vitality.

The Impact of Aging

From age 20, we naturally lose about 1% of ECM each year as our fibroblast cells become less active and decrease in number. These cells are crucial as they produce key ECM components like collagen and elastin.

By age 40-50, this cumulative loss reaches 20-30% – equivalent to 15-20 ml of pure dermal volume in the face, leading to visible signs of aging.

Natural Skin Structure

The dermis ECM consists of key components:
  1. Collagen (70-80%): Provides structural strength through types I & III
  2. Elastin (2-4%): Essential for skin elasticity
  3. Proteoglycans & GAGs: Maintain skin hydration and structure
  4. Supporting proteins: Including fibronectin, laminin, and growth factors essential for skin function

Our ECM Technology Platform

CELCORE has developed an innovative decellularization process that creates concentrated ECM from adipose tissue. By directly replenishing the dermis with fresh ECM components, Lipoform™ is designed to rebuild the skin’s natural framework from within, offering lasting rejuvenation effects.

Clinical Implementation

Through rigorous clinical trials and partnerships with leading aesthetic clinics, we offer practitioners a powerful new treatment option that delivers:

  • Natural lasting rejuvenation
  • Skin rebuilding rather than temporary filling
  • A differentiated treatment for their practice portfolio
  • Enhanced patient satisfaction and retention rates

Mesenchymal Stem Cells

Advanced Stem Cell Technology

Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) are multipotent cells with remarkable regenerative potential.

These cells can differentiate into various tissue types and have powerful abilities to control inflammation and support vascularization – making them valuable for a wide range of regenerative applications.

Our advanced manufacturing capabilities have established industry-leading standards in MSC production and application.

Our platform delivers exceptional results:

  • Up to 20 billion MSCs from just 100ml of adipose tissue
  • Complete processing within 2-3 weeks
  • Consistent production of highly potent cells
  • Scalable from small batches to bioreactor production
  • Proven safety in 10,000+ patients treated with MSCs from multiple manufacturing facilities worldwide

Partner Benefits

By providing access to reliable and cost-effective production of large-scale MSCs, CELCORE enables clinical partners to:
